This is an area neglected by many organizations; that is until disaster strikes. The impetus for neglect is generally the result of budget cuts. While most all organizations believe this is important, they will minimize or eliminate investment in it until it is too late.We used a structured approach to development and implementation, allowing an organization to achieve adequate coverage incrementally, with options for leveraging the otherwise surplus resources in the daily conduct of business. Many artifacts, some of which may exist through Service and Vendor management, are generated and serve as the foundation of the program including:

  • Business Impact Analyses (BIA)

  • Service Level Agreements (SLA)

  • Operational Level Agreements (OLA)

  • Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)

  • Recovery Time Objectives (RTO)
